Shock and Awe

Welcome friends and family to the one and only source for all your information needs related to the Waskey triplets!  I know that most of you are shocked (shocked I say!) that we would actually start a blog considering our adamant refusal to use Facebook but we are running out of minutes on our cell phones so we needed to find another way to communicate the up to the minute news that you all demand.  I can't promise how often we (ok who are we kidding, I) will post but you can expect regular updates when something significant happens.  So check back often to see what has been going on in our journey towards an instant family.

The title of this initial post pretty much sums up our initial reaction to the news we received approximately 3 weeks ago that we were having not one, not two, but three babies sometime later this year (God-willing).  It would have been great if we could have videotaped our reactions to the news right after we received it.  Needless to say we are still processing everything.

 

To catch everyone up to date, Julie is currently 10 weeks along and is already starting to show.  Apparently when you are pregnant with triplets, you look like you would if you were 8 weeks further along in a normal pregnancy. 


Although she is starving all of the time due to the three kiddos inside of her, the nausea makes it hard to eat much at one time.  We are hoping and praying that the morning sickness will pass soon so that she can eat until her heart's content.

There's really not much else to report at this time other than everything is going well and we have our first appointment with the fetal medicine specialists on Monday.  Thanks again to all of you for your continued support and prayers.
