So before everyone starts freaking out on us we thought a quick update was in order. Julie's water broke (well one of them at least) at approximately 4:30pm this afternoon. I rushed to the hospital to find her hooked up to monitoring equipment which she had to stay on for four hours! It is very difficult for Julie to be on her back for more than a few minutes but she managed to hang in there for the whole time and all three babies cooperated with the monitors for the most part (usually they are moving all around and the heartbeat monitors need to be constantly moved.)
Right now they are not letting Julie eat anything in case they need to do a C-Section tonight but otherwise they are saying that they will wait until she shows signs of pre-term labor and/or the beginnings of an infection that can be caused by her water breaking. We will attempt to keep everyone up to date via phone and/or the blog based on how fast things happen and how much forewarning that we get. We appreciate all your prayers and ask that you especially pray for Julie as things are getting harder and harder and she is doing her best to hang in there. It is very difficult for me as there is very little I can do to help other than pray myself.
P.S. Julie came up with the title which shows that she has kept her sense of humor through all of this.
We're praying for you! We can't wait to see pictures of your angels. You look great, Julie!
