Happy Thanksgiving from the Waskey Five

I have to admit...I never really thought that I would be spending Thanksgiving at a hospital but I guess if that is where we have to be it helps to have company like this...

Mom getting ready to feed Ryan.  He kept falling asleep with the bottle in his mouth which was adorable.

All three babies had their feeding amounts increased from 4 cc's to 8 cc's today which is good.  Even more encouraging is that Nadia and Ryan are both taking their feedings via bottle.  Julie and I even got to feed Ryan once each today.  Little Andrew is still being fed via tube but he is off of oxygen today so that means all three kiddos are now on unassisted room air only.  Nadia and Drew have developed some moderate jaundice so they are under lights to help alleviate that and hopefully they will be done with that by Saturday.

It is so amazing to see how even at only two days old, all three Baby Waskeys are exhibiting different personalities.  Ryan has continued to kick and squirm as he did when he was in the womb but he settles right down when he is swaddled and held in our arms.  Andrew is pretty laid back and is content to just chill in a ball under his light (but boy does he get pissed when you wake him up to take his blood pressure!)  Nadia is also pretty laid back but she stretches out when she's sleeping and is constantly making the nurses smile.

We missed seeing everyone today but we have to say that this was probably our best Thanksgiving ever :)
